2 cups rice
300g chicken (cut into pieces)
1 onion (finely chopped)
2 tomatoes (chopped)
2 green chilies
1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
1 tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp chili powder
1 tsp garam masala
Salt to taste
3 tbsp oil or butter
Fresh coriander leaves

Step 1: Prepare the Chicken
Clean the chicken thoroughly and marinate it with turmeric, chili powder, and salt. Let it rest for 15–20 minutes.
Step 2: Cook the Base
Heat oil in a pan, add chopped onions, and sautΓ© until golden brown. Add green chilies and ginger-garlic paste, cooking until the raw smell disappears.
Step 3: Add Tomatoes & Spices
Add tomatoes and cook until soft. Mix in turmeric, chili powder, and garam masala.
Step 4: Cook the Chicken
Add the marinated chicken and cook until it becomes tender and absorbs all the flavors.
Step 5: Add Rice
Wash the rice and add it to the pan. Pour enough water (about 4 cups), add salt, and mix well.
